Ugandan Singer Ava Peace Credits Prayer and Fasting for Her Curves (Nyash)

Kampala, Uganda - Singer Ava Peace, real name Maureen Peace Namugonza, has made a stunning revelation about her transformation from being self-conscious about her body to becoming a confident performer.

In an interview on Galaxy TV, Ava Peace shared that growing up, she faced shameful from peers who mocked her for having a smaller physique, particularly her backside. The teasing left her in tears, feeling insecure and inadequate.

"I remember people at school telling me I didn't have nyash (a colloquial term for curves)," Ava Peace recounted. "I cried and went back home, feeling so self-conscious about my body."

Determined to overcome her insecurities, Ava Peace turned to her faith, praying and fasting for a transformation. And, according to her, that's exactly what happened.

"I prayed and fasted, asking God to do a miracle on my body, and here we are – the miracle happened!" Ava Peace exclaimed.

Now, as a rising star signed to Jeff Kiwa's management, Ava Peace is proud of her curves and confident stage presence. Her collaboration with Dax Vibez, one of Uganda's most popular songs, has catapulted her to fame.
